Terms of service

These Terms govern use of Catalog Master AI (the “App”), an embedded Shopify application operated at catalogmasterai.com. By installing or using the App you accept these Terms.
1. The Service
The App syncs your Shopify catalog to an operational mirror, helps measure catalog quality (health), maintains master data, enriches with rules and licensed structured sources (e.g. Icecat, Open Food Facts), and may offer optional AI suggestions. AI is never the source of truth; you review before publishing. We do not scrape third-party storefronts or copy catalogs you do not have rights to use.
2. Account and Shopify
You need a Shopify store and must authorize the scopes we request. You are responsible for your staff access and for data you sync into the App.
3. Plans and billing
Plans (Free / Basic / Premium) are charged through Shopify Billing. Declining a charge or canceling in Shopify may limit features. Credits and limits follow the active plan.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not abuse APIs, circumvent plan limits, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Do not use the App to process unlawful content or infringe third-party rights.
- Do not reverse engineer or resell the Service without written permission.
5. AI
Optional AI features require consent. Suggestions may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing and applying changes to Shopify. We do not auto-publish AI changes in the MVP.
6. Intellectual property
You retain rights to your catalog. We retain rights to the App, brand, and software. Feedback may be used to improve the Service without obligation.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for reasonable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may evolve; material changes will be communicated when reasonable.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or catalog decisions you publish in Shopify. Aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the App in the prior 3 months (or USD $0 for Free).
9. Termination
You may uninstall anytime in Shopify. We may suspend or terminate for breach or risk. After uninstall / shop redact we delete store data per our Privacy notice and Shopify compliance webhooks.
